The Special Educational Needs Department

The Special Educational Needs Department provides support for students who have academic needs and as well for students who are experiencing other difficulties in their lives at any particular time.

Support is given individually and in small groups as appropriate. The Department aims to work closely with parents, outside therapists, tutors and teachers to ensure a team approach to problems and to help students achieve their full potential.

A Special Educational Needs Coordinator runs the department throughout the school in order to provide continuity and a uniform approach. As well there is a Psychologist for each section of the school, a specialized Assistant in the Primary and a part time Speech Therapist in the Kinder.

Children with Special Educational Needs can apply for admission and will be considered according to their individual needs.
