AIM Our philosophy in the Secondary School is to bring out the best in every child through motivation and high expectations and to treat everyone as an individual who respects others and who deserves respect in return. Structure The Secondary school at the Edron begins in year 7 and ends with year 13; it bridges three areas of the Mexican education system: Primaria in year 7, Secundaria in years 8 to 10 and Preparatoria in years 11 to 13. With a maximum group size of 24 we ensure a student - teacher ratio which is very low. This section of the school is organised into four faculties: Social Sciences, Expressive Arts, Communications and Maths and Science. Regular contact is maintained between home and school through regular reports and parent conference days. Curriculum Students in years 7 to 9 continue to follow both the Each child is assigned to a tutor group, with a form tutor who is responsible for their general well being, both personal and academic. Our Personal and Social Education Programme is an intrinsic part of the school curriculum and fundamental to this course is camps week, when every student has a week with his tutor group at one of our designated camps. Events There is a variety of events throughout the year which encourages learning outside the classroom. Students might take part in subject specific trips as and when the curriculum dictates.
