Staff Profile
Staff Profile
At present, we have a staff of about 90 including teachers, assistants, medical and educational psychologist support and computer technicians. The teachers are mainly British or have English as the first language and a large minority are Mexican staff who teach the Mexican curriculum.
We are proud of the quality of teachers at the Edron who all hold appropriate teaching qualifications, an academic degree and have taught for at least two years. Most of the staff appointed have, in fact, many more years of classroom experience.
We only employ staff after careful interview procedures and they are all people who have a serious commitment to our school and will stay at least for the two year contract. The average stay for overseas staff is now 5-6 years. The school, in return, offers good conditions of service and professional development.
We have organised our school around different academic teams. The Senior management team comprises the Head Teacher, the Heads of School and the School Bursar. A Middle Management Team includes the above with Heads of Faculties (Communications, Social Sciences, Science and Maths and Arts), our Heads of the Mexican System, the Secondary Deputies, Primary's Key Stage two Curriculum Coordinators, and the Public Relations Officer.
Other teams include Secondary , Primary and Nursery groups, Subject groups and those leading our House system.
